Analytical and numerical methods for calculating magnetic fields and determining the electromagnetic, power and energy parameters of electrical devices on this basis are considered. The theory and principles of calculation of transient processes in nonlinear electromagnetic systems, variable electromagnetic fields and eddy currents are taught. And it is applicable to the consideration of real electrical engineering objects, ranging from a single conductor to electrical machines. Some of analyzed topics are provided with examples of problem solving.
It is intended for students and post-graduate students of the electrical engineering profile.
